20th Annual April Fools Fest
April 12th - 13th, 2025
The April Fools Fest is a USA Softball sanctioned tournament hosted by the Plainville Athletic League and managed by KP Pride Softball. This will kick-off the Spring softball tournament season with competitive games in our 12U and 14U divisions.

Tournament Rules

Straight USA Softball Rules including:
-
Ground rules are covered and finalized at the plate between coaches and umpires
-
Pool Games: no new Inning after 90 minutes
-
No Time limit for Finals unless otherwise noted by tourney director

Run ahead Rule - 15, 12, 8 after 3,4, 5
-
You may bat as many Additional Players (AP) as you like

Complex Guidelines
-
ABSOLUTELY NO NEGATIVE INTERACTIONS WITH UMPIRES
-
NO Pets – i.e., NO dogs allowed on premises

NO Alcohol policy will be strictly enforced
-
NO BBQs at the fields (concession stands are at each complex)
-
Parents and players are to clean-up after finishing a game.

NO Artificial Noise Makers; Limit walk up songs to when the batter enters the batters box or 10 seconds, please help the games move along

Post-Game: Due to tight scheduling, all post game activities are to take place in the outfield or outside the field to allow for field prep for the next game.
Tournament Schedule
This tournament will use Tourney Machine to provide schedules, standings, and real time updates. All scores must be texted to 508-642-7552 with the age division, team names, indication of the home team, and final scores.
