Please read the below message from the Plainville Athletic League regarding the Spring Clean-Up. This is an important day for the KP Pride community to come out and get our fields ready. The High School season and the April Fools Fest tournaments are right around the corner.
The PAL needs your help! Where: Plainville Athletic Complex When: Saturday March 16, 2024 Start Time: 9:00 AM
PAL Cleanup Day is 3/16, with 3/17 being held as a rain date. In order to get the fields ready for a great spring season, we NEED Volunteers! Please come down and help out. We will be there from 9am until finished (probably around 2pm depending on number of volunteers). There are many different tasks including:
Raking
Leaf Blowing
Hanging Sponsorship SIgns
Cleaning Dugouts
Hanging batting cage nets
Emptying L screens and other items from sheds
Complete building bleachers on Nelson
Mulching
The PAL Board will be there to help with and guide the tasks. Please feel free to bring your kids as there are some smaller tasks for them as well, and helps give them a sense of pride that they helped get the facility ready for them to play at!
The sooner these tasks are completed the sooner the PAL can open the fields for practices. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors!
